College Hockey will adopt 2 referee rule
But we have to wait a year. The competition committee released their new list of rule changes and the one that stands out the most will be the 2 referee system that the NHL uses. However, it won't be in effect until 08-09. Another aspect under consideration are modifying OT rules. One example would be 4 on 4 or a shootout.

I still wonder how they are going to come up with that many competent refs to ref the games.
I was thinking the EXACT same thing when I was writing that. Seems almost counterproductive.
I can't believe that it will be good for the Fighting Sioux, the refs don't like us now can you imagine two blind mice taking it out on the Sioux?
